Boat Tour

A full-day Godavari boat tour from Rajahmundry through the Papikondalu gorge.
A road transfer takes you to the Gandi Pochamma temple boat point. Breakfast is served on board as the cruise sets off, followed by a vegetarian lunch on the boat and the passage through the Papi Hills. At Perantapalli village you visit the Ramakrishna Muni Vatika ashram and the Veereswara Swamy (Shiva) temple; the boat then returns to the Pattiseema, Polavaram or Purushothapatnam boat point and the road transfer brings you back to Rajahmundry around 8:30 PM.
Visiting places: Gandi Pochamma temple, Papi Hills, Perantapalli ashram and temple, the Polavaram project area, Devipatnam, Koruturu cottages and the Sirivaka bamboo huts.
Itinerary
7:30 AM - Road journey to the Gandi Pochamma temple boat point to board the boat.
9:00 AM - Breakfast on the boat as the cruise sets off on the Godavari.
1:00 PM - Vegetarian lunch on the boat.
2:00 PM - Cruise through the Papikondalu (Papi Hills) gorge.
